As you can see from the footer of each page, this website is written in valid XHTML 1.1 and CSS 2.1.- Why this website?
I have written the beta of this website mainly to do some practise with the HTML language.
The website had its own structure but the graphics was dreadful, so I decided to rewrite it with the use of CSS. When I have finished the 1.0 release, I have put it here, on Altervista's web space.
After some time, I made some improvements and the version 1.1 was born.
In the years later, I have done my first experiences in programming, using Pascal and C. I realized that with static pages I had a great problem: I didn't have a system to easily update website's contents. So I began to study PHP and MySQL, both at school and at home in my free time. Some ideas began to run through my head and I understood the importance of and English-translated website. I have done some experiments and tried some different approaches for internazionalization. The third one, the last, seemed good and I decided to complete it. The new version is a complete rewriting of the website and now I can update it with new features and contents in a way much more easier than before. The new generation, the 2.0, sprang to life.
